She was elected Miss Cougar America 2010 by the cubs (younger men) in attendance at the National Cougar Convention, who each had one gold coin to vote for the cougar of their choice. Ms. Roberts received 41 coins, which by far was the largest number any cougar collected at the convention. The Chicagoland Convention was the 2nd Annual National Cougar Convention. The first convention was held in August of 2009 in California's Silicon Valley.
